Materials & Production

Most objects are printed in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic. It prints accurately, comes in a wide range of colours and textures, and produces relatively little waste. When a design requires different properties, a different material is used. The function always determines the choice.

Produced locally
Everything is printed locally in the Netherlands, in small batches or made to order. This keeps production flexible and quality easy to control.

Layer lines
3D printed objects have visible layer lines — that's just how the process works. They're part of what makes it recognisably handmade, and every object is slightly different because of it.

Not mass-produced, but made one at a time — from material to finished form.
