Base Cauldron | 3D Printed Modular Candle Holder - Halloween Special

Every good spooky stack starts at the bottom, in this case in a bubbling witch's cauldron. Complete with a ring on the side and a rough cast iron texture, this is the sturdy base of the Halloween Specials. Every shape fits on top, but it bubbles hardest with Jack on it.

Designed and built from scratch: not a downloaded file, not a template. The Base Cauldron is part of the Modular Collection: a set of candle holders that click together using a bayonet closure. Mix shapes, mix colours, stack as high as you want.

Important: every candle holder starts with a Base. This is the one piece no stack can do without.

This design is only available through SunkenOrangeDesign. It's designed on my own PC, printed on my own printers, and if something doesn't come out right, I adjust it until it does. You're not buying a mass-produced object, but something that took actual time and effort to get right.

Material & finish
Printed in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic. Each piece is printed layer by layer in the Netherlands. Subtle variations in surface make every piece slightly unique.

Colour
Charcoal Black, exclusively for the Halloween Specials. Cast iron comes in black, after all.

Use
The Base Cauldron sits flat on any surface and carries your whole stack. The bayonet closure on top connects to any piece in the collection, so mix shapes and colours freely.

Safety
A burning candle is still an open flame, so use it sensibly: never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it out of reach of children, pets, curtains and draughts, and always place your candle holder on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface. Don't let the candle burn all the way down into the cup: put out the flame when about 2 cm of candle is left. The aluminium cup protects the PLA from the heat, so never use the Alu Cup Cap without the cup.
