Designed and built from scratch, not a downloaded file, not a template. The Base Dune is part of the XXL Modular Vases: the same shapes as our candle holders, but seriously scaled up. Mix shapes, mix colours, stack your own vase.
Base Dune: The Base Dune is a tapered base with folds all around, like wind ripples in sand: a playful, wavy start to your vase. No bayonet on the bottom, so it sits flat on any surface. The bayonet on top connects to any XXL module. Every vase starts here.
Important: start with a Base, you need one to build a complete vase. Finish your vase with the Cap Cup Set: a printed, watertight insert, so it can hold fresh flowers, water and all.
Printed to order
XXL modules are not kept in stock: your module is printed especially for you in the colour you choose. So allow for the delivery time shown; as soon as your order comes off the printer, it ships out that same week. And because every piece is made to order just for you, exchanges and returns are not possible.

This design is only available through SunkenOrangeDesign. Designed on my own PC, printed on my own printers, and if something comes off the printer less than perfect, I tweak it until it is right. You are not buying a mass product, you are buying something that took real time and effort.
Material & finish
Printed in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic. Every piece is printed layer by layer in the Netherlands. Subtle variations in the surface make each piece just a little different.

Use
The Base Dune sits flat on any surface and carries your whole vase. The bayonet mount lets you stack multiple pieces together, mix shapes and colours any way you like. Add the Cap Cup Set on top and your build becomes a fully working vase for fresh flowers. And since everything clicks together, you can also combine the XXL modules with the Modular Etagère.
Dimensions
60 mm tall. Small variations can occur, that is part of the printing process.

Because every print is made one at a time, your piece can look just a bit different from the photos. That way you always get a one-of-a-kind.
Shipping & Returns
We print and ship as quickly as we can. Shipping is via PostNL; we deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, Sweden and Spain. Live in Hooglanderveen or Vathorst? Then we'll simply drop it off ourselves.
Not happy with your order? Products from our regular collection come with a 14-day cooling-off period. Products we make especially for you, like the XXL Vase, are made to order and can't be returned.
