Designed and built from scratch, not a downloaded file, not a template. The Lantern is an add-on for the XXL Modular Vases: a module with a closed bottom and an open, organic pattern in the wall. Put an LED tea light inside and your vase casts a playful pattern of light around it.
Lantern: The pattern is based on a Voronoi structure, the kind you see in nature in leaf veins and soap bubbles. A sculptural piece in your stack by day, a lantern by night, on top or right in the middle of your vase.
Important: use an LED tea light only. The Lantern is printed in PLA and is not suitable for a real flame or tea light candle. Building a vase with it? Then put at least 150 mm of shapes between the Lantern and the Cap Cup Set, so the watertight insert does not reach into the Lantern.
Printed to order
XXL modules are not kept in stock: your Lantern is printed especially for you in the colour you choose. So allow for the delivery time shown; as soon as your order comes off the printer, it ships out that same week. And because every piece is made to order just for you, exchanges and returns are not possible.

This design is only available through SunkenOrangeDesign. Designed on my own PC, printed on my own printers, and if something comes off the printer less than perfect, I tweak it until it is right. You are not buying a mass product, you are buying something that took real time and effort.
Material & finish
Printed in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic. Every piece is printed layer by layer in the Netherlands. Subtle variations in the surface make each piece just a little different.

Use
The Lantern clicks onto your stack with the same bayonet mount as all XXL modules: on top as a lantern, or in the middle of your vase as a point of light. Mix it with the other shapes and colours, and combine it with the Modular Etagère too.
Dimensions
100 mm tall, approx. 134 mm wide. Small variations can occur, that is part of the printing process.

Shipping & Returns
We print and ship as quickly as we can. Shipping is via PostNL; we deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, Sweden and Spain. Live in Hooglanderveen or Vathorst? Then we'll simply drop it off ourselves.
Not happy with your order? Products from our regular collection come with a 14-day cooling-off period. Products we make especially for you, like the XXL Vase, are made to order and can't be returned.
