Ridge Duo | Sparkling Black Edition | 3D Printed Design Vase

Designed and built from scratch — not a downloaded file, not a template. The Ridge Duo is part of my first collection — one of the first designs I made when I started figuring out what I could do with a 3D printer.

The shape is based on two cylindrical forms with fine vertical ridges. Smooth at the base, textured above — the contrast between the two is what makes it interesting. The two heights work well together, but hold their own separately too.

This is the Sparkling Black Edition — the same design, printed in a deep black PLA with a subtle glitter running through it. It's hard to capture on camera, but in real life the ridges catch the light and you see the sparkle. I find them fancy. 😄

Why buy here
This design is only available through SunkenOrangeDesign. It's designed on my own PC, printed on my own printers, and if something doesn't come out right, I adjust it until it does. You're not buying a mass-produced object — you're buying something that took actual time and effort to get right.

The Ridge Duo comes as a set of two, which makes it easy to give — no need to think about what goes with it. The black works in most interiors, which makes it a safe but distinctive choice for a housewarming or birthday.

Material & finish
Printed in PLA — a plant-based bioplastic with a subtle glitter finish. Each vase is printed layer by layer in the Netherlands. Subtle variations in surface make every piece slightly unique.
