Vortex | Sparkling Black Edition | 3D Printed Design Vase

Designed and built from scratch — not a downloaded file, not a template. The Vortex is part of my first collection — one of the first designs I made when I started figuring out what I could do with a 3D printer.

The shape is based on vertical ridges that spiral around the form, giving it a sense of movement even when standing still.

This is the Sparkling Black Edition — the same design, printed in a deep black PLA with a subtle glitter running through it. It's hard to capture on camera, but in real life the spiralling ridges catch the light and you see the sparkle. The combination of the twisting shape and the glitter makes this one stand out.

Why buy here
This design is only available through SunkenOrangeDesign. It's designed on my own PC, printed on my own printers, and if something doesn't come out right, I adjust it until it does. You're not buying a mass-produced object — you're buying something that took actual time and effort to get right.

Material & finish
Printed in PLA — a plant-based bioplastic with a subtle glitter finish. Each vase is printed layer by layer in the Netherlands. Subtle variations in surface make every piece slightly unique.

Not water-tight, so intended for dried, silk or LEGO® flowers. Or just empty.

Size
Available in 200 mm and 250 mm height. Slight variations may occur — that's part of the process.
